For those of you who have not heard of The Reading Room, shame on all of you. Thank goodness you’re reading this issue because boy, are you missing out! The Reading Room has been described as “Your lounge room in the city” and that’s a pretty accurate slogan. Open from 2pm Monday-Saturday at 153 Hindley Street, it operates as a lounge, a library, a gallery and even a cinema. So, if you’re looking to check out talented locals, fortnightly Chess Nights, yes you read that right, or just to hang out, this is certainly on your to-do list.
